Add wanted days, siblings and buddies

Tell Floreo which extra days a family would like, and who a child should stay with. Suggestions takes it all into account.

1/5In Edit enrolments, Enrolled shows the days the child attends. Tick Wants for extra days the family would like.

Change days and add wanted days

  1. Open the ⋯ menu on a child’s card and choose Edit enrolments.
  2. The Enrolled row shows the days the child attends. Change these to move the child to different days. Floreo adds a Day Change to your plan, starting from the date you’re viewing.
  3. In the Wants row, tick any extra days the family would like but isn’t enrolled in yet.
  4. Click Save changes.

On the card, wanted days show in a lighter purple. When one of those days is free in the child’s room, Suggestions offers a Day Change that keeps their current days and adds the new one. For example: Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri → Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri.

Wanted days live only in Floreo, so an enrolments refresh offers to remove them. Tick Skip on Remove attendance requests to keep them. See Keep your data fresh.

Floreo only suggests a move for a child who has no other change on the same date. If a child already has a pending move, confirm it or undo it first.

Siblings and buddies

  1. Open the ⋯ menu on a child’s card and choose Edit child details.
  2. Tick Has a sibling attending? if a brother or sister is also at the centre. A pink icon appears next to the child’s name on the board.
  3. Under Buddies, pick the children in the same room they should stay with.

Changes save as you make them. From then on, Suggestions ranks moves higher for children with a sibling at the centre, and for children moving at the same time as a buddy, so friends move up together.

Families often mention extra days or a sibling starting when they’re at pick-up. Add it in Floreo straight away, so the next suggestion already allows for it.
